Here are the results from SETUP Thailand's show, Bangkok Strong Style.  The event was held last Saturday at The Circus Studio.

 

TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Set 1 round 20 minutes

WINNER : Paksa (7.15) with Curb Stomp on The Gatekeeper

INTERGENDER TAG TEAM MATCH Set 1 round 20 minutes.

Jeney & Mikey Wild vs Chalee & ‘Bangkok Rockstar’ Terry Diesel

WINNER : Terry Diesel (8.14) with Falling Sanctuary pose on Jeney

INTERNATIONAL SINGLE MATCH Set 1 round 20 minutes.

‘Smiling Angel’ Monomoth vs ‘The Good Doctor’ Landon Hale

WINNER : Monomoth (16.45) ด้วยท่า Bridging Backslide Hold

SPECIAL TAG TEAM MATCH Set 1 round 20 minutes.

Gym Bros (Sunny Z & Benji) vs St.John Innocent College (Pondhub & Kevin Weng)

WINNER : Gym Bros (16.55) After Kevin Weng decided to get down from the rope to help Pondhub that was being played and lost the rhythm, causing Pondhub to lose Gym Bros Elbow.

After the match, Pondhub is not happy with Kevin Weng for making a wrong decision. He asked "Don't you want to be a tag team champion?" But Kevin Weng answered "I want to be a champion, but I want you more" ...

Pondhub stunned and walked away.

SETUP ALL ASIA WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP Set 1 round 30 minutes.

Princess Pistachio (Challenger) vs Matcha (Champion)

WINNER : Matcha (6.35) ด้วย Saito Suplex

*1st place champion. Defended the 1st place successfully.

After the match, Monomoth came out to make history to challenge the women's championship !? Before MIZUKI from TJPW submitted a championship challenge video too !

SEMI FINAL : THAILAND vs TAIWAN TAG TEAM MATCH Set 1 round 30 minutes

Team Puzzle (Show Lo & Porco) vs The Good Deal (Anont Alonzo & Mister Suchart)

WINNER : The Good Deal (16.40)

MAIN EVENT I : SPECIAL SINGLE MATCH Set 1 round 30 minutes.

‘Ace of Thai Wrestling’ Shivam vs Zack Sabre Jr. (NJPW - TMDK)

WINNER : ZSJ (17.01) ด้วยท่า Arm Bar

MAIN EVENT II : SPECIAL SINGLE MATCH Set 1 round 60 minutes.

‘SETUP Thailand Openweight Champion’ Jonathan Johnson vs El Phantasmo (NJPW - G.O.D.)

WINNER : Johnson (20.23) with collector

*7th champion. Successfully defended the 1st position.

Bangkok Strong Style Update #1

SETUP Thailand's show, EP17: Bangkok Strong Style will take place on Saturday, March 23rd at The Circus Studio.  Since the last post, there have been three matches added to the show.

 

Matcha, the All Asia Women's Champion, and first female wrestler from Thailand, will defend the title against Princess Pistachio, Taiwan's first female pro wrestler.

 

Also, in the last post, we mentioned about Zach Sabre Jr. and El Phantasmo from NJPW making their way to Thailand to wrestle in the show.

 

Sabre Jr. will face "The Ace Of Thai Wrestling", Shivam in one of the two Double Main Event matches.

 

The second match will have El Phantasmo going up against the SETUP Thailand Openweight Champion, Jonathan Johnson. 

 

The fans in Bangkok will be treated to a very special night of pro wrestling.

SETUP Thailand Update

Within the past few hours, there has been a major announcement regarding SETUP Thailand's upcoming show, EP17 Bangkok Strong Style.  The event will take place on Saturday, March 23rd.  The venue is The Circus Studio, G Village in Bangkok.

 

In cooperation with New Japan Pro Wrestling, superstars, Zach Sabre Jr. and El Phantasmo will take part in a singles match.

 

This match is huge, not just for SETUP Thailand, but the entire Southeast Asia region.  The match alone is a main event one anywhere in the world!
