A reminder regarding Sunday, FPW Astig show.  It It will take place at Baked Studios in Makati City (not the PMC Spotlight Theater in Circuit Makati).  Show begins at 2pm.

FPW Astig July Show Update #2

Hello everyone!

 

Filipino Pro Wrestling has added a second match for the July FPW Astig show.  The event takes place on Sunday, July 14th, 2pm at Baked Studios (Yahal Street, Makati City).

 

Good Guy Quatro will take on Evan Carleaux in singles competition.  This appears to be a good hard hitting battle.

FPW Astig April Update #3

Hello everyone!

 

There has been another match added to the Filipino Pro Wrestling show, FPW Astig this coming April 14th.  The event will be at 2pm at the PMC Spotlight Blackbox Theater in Circuit Makati.

 

"The Gym Bro", Thiago will take on "The Mad Doctor, Jan Evander in a singles match as one of several matches lined up on the show.

 

Will the powerful and muscular, Thiago have his way or will the quick, high flying and unpredictable offense of Jan Evander be the story?

 

Also, here's an update of the other matches on the show so far....

FPW: Astig April Show Update #1

This match has been brewing for weeks now.  There will be a six man tag match as one of the featured ones for the FPW Astig April show.

The team of The Yolo Twins and Good Guy Quatro will take on Evan Carleaux, Cali Nueva and James "Idol" Martinez.

From the one show that this fan witnessed last August, The Yolo Twins and Good Guy Quatro work well together.  The question will be in the other corner with Evan Carleaux, Cali Nueva and James "Idol" Martinez.  Evan Carleaux and Cali Nueva definitely work well together as a tag team.  The question is if James "Idol" Martinez can work well with the other two wrestlers.  This fan is not saying that Martinez cannot work well with the two, but usually, Martinez is, more than likely, opposing Carleaux, Nueva or both in singles or tag team action!

 

This fan wasn't at the last show, but hopefully, someone can message me as to how Martinez was selected for this match.

 

The show will take place on Sunday, April 14th at the PMC Spotlight Blackbox Theater, Circuit Makati beginning at 2pm.

Filipino Pro Wrestling Update #2

A third and fourth match has been made for Filipino Pro Wrestling's show, FPW: Astig.  The event will take place on Sunday, February 11th.  The venue is the PMC Spotlight Blackbox Theater, Circuit Makati, beginning at 2pm.

 

The first one is a return tag team match that will feature Cali Nueva and Evan Carleaux against the Yolo Twins.

 

I've seen both teams and all four wrestlers last August at the final FPW show of the year.  The Yolo Twins have been a tag team for several years now and they are one great tag team.  Their chemistry is as good as any tag team I've seen.

 

However, Evan Carleaux and Cali Nueva can rise to the occasion from what was witnessed last August.  Though the Yolo Twins won the match, the fans could sense that their opposition might face them again sometime in 2024!  Well, that time is February 11th.

 

The other match that's been made is also a rematch from 2023.  Quatro, making his return to the ring will take on James "Idol" Martinez in a singles match.

 

I haven't seen Quatro live in the ring but seeing him on You Tube, he's very capable of holding the FPW Championship.  The matches he had in PWR were classics and I still watch them on occasion.

 

James "Idol" Martinez is still looking for his first win in FPW.  Seeing him last August when he faced Mharckie, this fan thought that he was going to triumph.  The match ended up a draw.  Could this be Martinez's time to come up with an upset victory?

 

Speaking of Mharckie, hopefully he's recovering from an accident late last year.  Hopefully, he will be back sometime in 2024.
