Third PUSO Tourmament Match Set

PUSO Wrestling is the home of Pinoy Wrestling in the Philippines and around the world!  Their first show, Unang Tibok, will take place on Saturday, August 17th at 6pm.  The location is the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City.  

 

The third match in the PUSO Wrestling tournament has been announced.  The tournament we're talking about is for the inaugural Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship.

 

Two Barangay Bagsakan teammates, Nigel "Suplex" San Jose and Isaiah Valencia, have been announced as one of the first three matches in the tournament.  Both men have come off matches in which Nigel won a three way match and Isaiah did well in a match against Fabio Makisig.

 

The other two tournament matches that are set are Main Maxx vs. El Kapitunero and Joey Rosas vs. Super P.

 

In the main event, the return match from Pinoy Wrestling Night will feature "Mr. Philippine Wrestling" Jake De Leon vs. the "Pinay Vixen" Chelsea Marie.

MWF Kasaysayan Update #7

Kodai Nozaki may be a pro wrestler that is unfamiliar to wrestling fans in the Philippines.

 

However, to wrestling fans that follow Kyushu Pro Wrestling, and to fans that follow the promotion in Japan, he's well known.

 

The two time Kyushu Pro Wrestling champion will face Manila Wrestling Federation's CJ Serafin at MWF Kasaysayan this coming April 14th.  The venue is the UP Film Institute Media Center, UP Dillman in Quezon City.

 

This blogger has seen the "roller coaster" career of CJ Serafin over the last year.  A former member of the stable, Barangay Bagsakan, CJ has wrestled in a couple of tag team matches of late.  On April 14th, he appears to be going solo in what might be his biggest test as a wrestler.

MWF Noche Buena Update #4

Pinoy wrestling fans have sensed that there's been some tension in the camp of Barangay Bagsakan for a little while now.

 

Well, it has come down to this.  Isaiah Valencia and CJ Serafin, two bright stars in the Manila Wrestling Federation, will settle their differences, or will they?  The venue is MWF Noche Buena on Sunday, December 3rd beginning at 4:30pm.  The location is the PMC Spotlight Theater in Circuit Makati.

 

The stipulation of the match is the following.  Whoever loses this match will leave Barangay Bagsakan.
