Puso Wrestling's Next Show

Hello everyone!  Apologies for not posting lately.

 

PUSO Wrestling's next show, Pusong Pinoy, will take place on Saturday, November 30th.  The venue is once again the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City beginning at 6pm.  Here is what is happening.

 

The finals for the inaugural Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship will be decided that evening.  Aaron Liwanag will take on Main Maxx in what will be a banger of a match!  Both wrestlers are undefeated since PUSO Wrestling began last summer.  Aaron Liwanag will be battling for his first championship while Main Maxx will battle for his first championship in several years.

 

In other matches signed,  Dabid Ravena and Kurt Jiminez, returning to action, will face Nigel San Jose and Fabio Makisig, returning to action.  Ravena and Jiminez are part of the revival group, MSG led by Mr. Sy along with the Pinay Vixen, Chelsea Marie.  Nigel San Jose and Fabio Makisig have teamed up before in tag team action and will prove a huge test, and revenge, against the MSG team.

 

There will also be a Pwersang Pinay Gauntlet match involving Crystal, Chelsea Marie, Joya, Super P., Patricia Ligaia, Roxxy from Wrestlefest DXB (Dubai) and a wrestler yet to be named.  Yappy will be the special guest referee for the match.

 

In a three way, Mr. Philippine Wrestling's, Jake De Leon will take on Shaheen from Wrestlefest DXB and Shigehiro Irie from Japan in a huge encounter.

 

Also, Isaiah Valencia will take on Jomar in singles action.

 

In a four way for the #1 contender for the Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship, it will be Danny Zamora vs. Joey Rosas vs. Ken Cifer vs. El Kapitunero.  The winner of this match will get a title shot at whoever is the champion.

 

Finally, there will be a tag match between Hakai Mateo and Alien Friend vs. Serafin Liwanag and Kapatid na ???.  The stipulation is this per General Manager, Sonny Go.  If Hakai Mateo and Alien Friend win the match, Serafin Liwanag and Kapatid na ??? will be barred from ringside during the Pusong Pinoy Championship Match.

PUSO Wrestling Heart-2-Heart Results

Hello everyone!  My apologies, but am late on this.

 

Here are the results from PUSO Wrestling's Heart-2-Heart show.  The event was held last Saturday, September 21st at Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City before another great crowd!

 

Chelsea Marie d. Joya and will headline Dexcon's Jam Of The Joshis.

Main Maxx d. Nigel San Jose to reach the finals of the Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship Tournament.

Aaron Liwanag d. Super P and will face Main Maxx in the finals of the Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship Tournament.

El Katipunero won the Wheyl Wumble: Pinoy Wrestling Gauntlet Match.

Jomar and Crystal d. Isaiah Valencia and Patricia Ligaia.     

PUSO Wrestling Heart 2 Heart Update #2

Hello everyone!

 

PUSO Wrestling's next show, Heart-2-Heart, will take place Saturday night, September 21st.  The venue is the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City, PH. beginning at 6pm.

 

The stage is now set for PUSO Wrestling's Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Tournament with two semi final matches.  This is for the first ever Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Champion!  The matches are as follows:

 

Aaron Liwanag vs. Super P.

Nigel San Jose vs. Main Maxx.

The four wrestlers reached this point by winning their first round matches at the August Unang Tibok show.

Unang Tibok Results

Hello Everyone!

Here are the results from PUSO Wrestling's show, Unang Tibok.  The inaugural event took place this past Saturday at the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City.  Congratulations once again to PUSO Wrestling, the staff, fans, sponsors and everyone involved who was at Brawl Pit and Onyang's Cafe, before and after, the show.  It was a memorable and huge evening for all of us who attended.  The promotion has a great future ahead!  All the best!

Third PUSO Tourmament Match Set

Hello everyone!

 

PUSO Wrestling is the home of Pinoy Wrestling in the Philippines and around the world!  Their first show, Unang Tibok, will take place on Saturday, August 17th at 6pm.  The location is the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City.  

 

The third match in the PUSO Wrestling tournament has been announced.  The tournament we're talking about is for the inaugural Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship.

 

Two Barangay Bagsakan teammates, Nigel "Suplex" San Jose and Isaiah Valencia, have been announced as one of the first three matches in the tournament.  Both men have come off matches in which Nigel won a three way match and Isaiah did well in a match against Fabio Makisig.

 

The other two tournament matches that are set are Main Maxx vs. El Kapitunero and Joey Rosas vs. Super P.

 

In the main event, the return match from Pinoy Wrestling Night will feature "Mr. Philippine Wrestling" Jake De Leon vs. the "Pinay Vixen" Chelsea Marie.

Tagay Na! Results

Here are the results below from Sunday night's World Underground Wrestling - Philippines show, Tagay Na!  The event took place before an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and great gathering of Pinoy wrestling fans at the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City.

 

Also, I have some thoughts below the results.  Please, if you have a chance, to read it!

To the fans who were in attendance, and those who weren't there because of other obligations, thank you for supporting WUW - Philippines and PUSO.  Everyone's support is important right now. This blogger believes that WUW - Philippines and PUSO recognizes this and will continue to provide a good product for you.

 

Also, thank you to Rosh (results), Glenn-Dale (the clip from the show below), Christian, Jelson, Cholo, Andi, Ulysses, Emile, Michael, Martin, Patricia, Isaiah, Jeff, Alexander, and many others that I cannot remember (my apologies), thank you for the communication over the past couple of years.  Being about 7,000 miles away in America, without the input from all of you, posts like this wouldn't be possible.

 

There are good possibilities that Dexcon and WUW - Philippines will put on. at least, another show before year's end.  Also, PUSO Wrestling has mentioned that there will be an August show.  Details are forthcoming.  This blogger will have it on this blog as soon as the announcement is made!

Tagay Na! Show Update #5

Hello everyone!

 

A lot has happened since my last post two weeks ago.  My apologies for not posting but have had an emergency to take care of here in America.  Please don't worry everyone!  Health wise, I'm good and am looking forward to the Philippines visit in about four weeks time.

 

There have been changes on the card for Tagay Na!  The show will still take place at the Brawl Pit Bulusan on Sunday, July 7th beginning at 6pm in Quezon City.

 

Added will be an "I Quit" match between Main Maxx and Silent D.

 

Also, a singles match is now a Triple Threat Match.  The match between One Man Kru and Zera has been canceled.

 

Instead, Zera will wrestle against Dabid Ravena against Nigel San Jose in a Triple Threat Match.

 

Later in the week, this blogger will post the show lineup for everyone just in case anyone (like myself) forgot.

Tagay Na! Show Update #2

There has been a match added since my last post regarding Tagay Na!  The World Underground Wrestling - Philippines show will take place on Sunday, July 7th.  Bell time is 6pm at the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City, PH.

 

The "Godkiller," Dabid Ravena will take on the "Suplex Machine," Nigel San Jose in a singles match.  This will definitely be one banger of a match!

MWF Kasaysayan Update #5

Hello everyone!  We now have a triple threat match lined up for the MWF Kasaysayan show scheduled for Sunday, April 14th at the UP Film Institute at UP Dillman.

 

The participants will be Nigel San Jose, Main Maxx and Danny Zamora.  Looking back to last year, all three participants took part in the eight man elimination match for the MWF Pinoy Wrestling Championship at Noche Buena.  

 

Main Maxx was in the final paring when losing to Jake DeLeon for the MWF Championship in December.  Certainly, he's in line for a shot at the championship once again.

 

Nigel San Jose and Danny Zamora are more, than considered, challenges for the MWF belt as well.  This blogger doesn't know if this is possibly a number one contender's match but it may make for a suggestion.

The Next Title Defense

It is about three months away from Manila Wrestling Federation's next event.  The event will be Kasaysayan on Sunday, April 14th.  It will take place at the UP Film Institute in Quezon City.

 

With Jake De Leon now as the two time - MWF Pinoy Wrestling Champion, this fan has been asked who his first opponent will be for the title.

 

I'm not a matchmaker here.  This blogger can say that "Danger" Rex Lawin did win the Number One Contenders match against Ho Ho Lun at Noche Buena.  Normally, that would be the next match.

 

Fabio Makisig deserves a return match for the belt.  I say this especially since he wasn't pinned by Jake De Leon.  He was pinned by Oro Plata Mata teammate, Main Maxx.

 

Main Maxx, being in the final pairing against Jake De Leon, deserves a title shot as well, especially how the match concluded.  For those that haven't seen it, the match, in its entirety is on You Tube.   Please check the Manila Wrestling Federation page, and more important, please subscribe!  There are close to 5,000 subscribers!

 

There are more wrestlers in line such as Dabid Ravena, Nigel San Jose, Kurt Jiminez, Robin Sane and more wanting to get a shot at the title.  When one is a champion, you are more likely to be hunted than being the hunter!

 

Back to Fabio and to Main Maxx for a moment, both have interesting situations going forward.  

 

Fabio likely has Danny Zamora on his mind.  Is Danny out of the stable after what happened at Noche Buena? 

 

With Main Maxx, it's perhaps more than one wrestler since he was a part of Oro Plata Mata.

 

However, recently, Main Maxx is reuniting with R O M E O as part of a tag team known as The Gemini Kings.  They will be wrestling in an event sponsored by Dexcon called Wrestle Storm in March.  Their opponents will be the WUW International Tag Team Champions in Saint John Martin and Ken Cifer.  Will one or both teams be a part of MWF going forward in 2024?

 

We will learn more in the next few weeks.
