ROR Experience 3 Update #2

Hello everyone!

 

Ring Of Rebirth Singapore will be hosting their next show this coming Sunday, January 19th. The event, ROR Experience 3 will take place at the Goldpine Industrial Center beginning at 4pm.

 

This blogger has been told that there will be four matches on the show.  Two matches have already been confirmed.

 

A first round match for the inaugural Ring Of Rebirth championship will feature The Eurasian Dragon versus CDK, one half of the Jack N'Cheese tag team.

 

Also, there will be a Geylang Street Fight featuring Varun Khanna against Mr. Geylang.  It will be interesting if this match ends up in the locker room or even outside the Goldpine Industrial Center.

SPW Champions Never Yield 3 Is SOLD OUT!

Hello everyone!

 

Southeast Asia, and Singapore Pro Wrestling's first wrestling show of 2025, SPW: Champions Never Yield 3, is now officially sold out!

 

The event will take place this Friday at the Foo Chow Building in Singapore.  It begins at 7:30pm with the doors opening at 7pm.

 

Seven matches, including four championship ones, highlight the show.  Looks like a great start for wrestling in Singapore and all of Southeast Asia.

The SPW SEA Championship Match

This coming Friday, Singapore Pro Wrestling will have their first show of 2025.  SPW: Champions Never Yield 3 will take place at the Foo Chow Building beginning at 7:30pm.  The doors will open at 7pm.

 

This blogger is intrigued with the SPW Southeast Asian Championship Match.  It is a four way match involving the champion, Da Butcherman, former champion, Aiden Rex, Shivam (SETUP Thailand and the current MYPW SEA Champion) and Jake De Leon (former PWR and MWF Champions).

 

Everyone but Jake De Leon has won an SPW title at least once.  The question is will his opponents overlook him?  He's certainly hungry enough to win the belt and take it back to the Philippines.

 

 

Shivam and Da Butcherman each have one current championship right now and both are looking for a second!  

 

Also, Aiden Rex is hungry to reclaim the title he lost.  He has been quiet lately and, perhaps, he has a game plan that the other three wrestlers don't know about.  

 

With a four way, the stakes are high.  The current champion does not have to be pinned to lose his or her title.  This match will be a great one.

This coming Friday, January 10th, Singapore Pro Wrestling will hold their first show of 2025, Champions Never Yield 3.  The event takes place at the Foo Chow Building beginning at 7:30pm.  Doors open 30 minutes earlier at 7pm.

Graveyard Shift Singapore Updated Results

A special thank you to PUSO Wrestling's Super P for providing updated results for the Graveyard Shift Singapore show on December 21-22.  The show was held at The Glass Dome and was part of a big weekend in the city.

Graveyard Shift Singapore Results

 

Hello everyone!

My apologies on this being late.  There was a mat-type event in Singapore the weekend of Saturday/Sunday, December 21-22 called Graveyard Shift.  It was held at The Glass Dome in Singapore.  Thanks to a couple of PUSO Wrestling wrestlers, this blogger is able to get some results of the two day event.  

 

Also, the blogger understood that this was a low key event.  However, the organizer said that the focus was to bring new fans into wrestling.  Just saying here...

 

On the Sunday show, Super P and Miss Selina match with a woman referee was the first time that a wrestling show, I believe in Southeast Asia, had three women in the ring.

 

Without any further mention, here are some results (though I know this is still incomplete).  I know that Jake De Leon and El Kapitunero appeared and wrestled in the show.   Thank you to the wrestlers involved.

ROR Experience 3 Event

Hello everyone!

 

Hopefully, it's okay to post this.  There will be an event coming up on January 19th in Singapore involving Ring Of Rebirth.

 

The event is called Yam Seng!  Looking at the poster, an Art Exhibit, Chinese New Year celebration and Q & A along with pro wrestling, ROR Experience 3 will take place.  The event begins at 4pm.

SPW: Champions Never Yield 3 Update #2

Hello everyone!

 

The next SPW show, Champions Never Yield 3, will take place on Friday, January 10th.  The venue is the Foo Chow Building.  Doors will open at 7pm with bell time at 7:30pm.  There has been one match added to what is going to be a great show.

 

Mason and RJ (The Midnight Bastards) are hoping to get an SPW SEA Tag Team Title match in the upcoming year.  They will take on a team that has never teamed up before.  They are Destroyer Dharma and Mighty Mighty.

Graveyard Shift In Singapore

Hello everyone!

 

There is one more wrestling event, to my knowledge, before the end of 2024 in Southeast Asia.

 

Graveyard Shift, a two day wrestling event, will take place on Saturday/Sunday December 21-22.  The venue is the Glass Dome in Singapore.  The show begins each day at 6:30pm.

 

Wrestlers from Singapore Pro Wrestling and PUSO Wrestling in the Philippines will appear in the show.  They are tentatively listed at the top of this post.

SPW: Champions Never Yield 3 Update #1

Hello everyone!

 

Since the last SPW post, there are three matches that have been added to the Champions Never Yield 3 show.

CK Vin, the SPW Singapore Champion, will face Black Arrow in a rematch.  Black Arrow is invoking his rematch clause.

 

The Juicy Boyz from Malaysia, who recently won the SPW SEA Tag Team Titles from the Horrors in Malaysia Pro Wrestling's last show, will put their titles on the line.  Jack N' Cheese, who won the number #1 contenders match at Crowning Glory, will be the opponents. Jack N' Cheese recently wrestled in a Vietnam Pro Wrestling event in early December.

 

Finally, Yuki Kamifuku, the defending SPW Queen Of Asia Champion will face former champion, Alexis Lee.  If Kamifuku retains the title as of December 29th, the match will be for the coveted title on January 10th.

A Look Back - Ring Of Rebirth

Hello everyone!

 

Just recently, Ring Of Rebirth Singapore (or RoR Wrestling) celebrated its second anniversary as a promotion.

 

For those that don't know, RoR Wrestling began in 2022.  As the third, and newest promotion in Singapore, ROR Wrestling, led by The Eurasian Dragon, had its first show on July 9th.  The theme was called RoR - Press Start and was held at the Goldpine Industrial Building.  The location has hosted a few pro wrestling shows over the years.

 

The promotion does it in a studio type format, something very familiar especially in the Territory Era days.  The Eurasian Dragon has done a great job with the local talent such as Nyc, Varun Khanna, BGJ, Mr. Geylang, Erfie, Kuhan Bluestar and others.  Wrestlers from nearby countries such as Vietnam, Australia and Hong Kong.

 

The Eurasian Dragon, himself, wrestles on occasions and has wrestled throughout Southeast Asia.  He appeared at a recent APAC Wrestling show in Malaysia and did quite well in a tag team match.

 

Kudos to The Eurasian Dragon and to RoR Wrestling.  Their latest shows, RoR Wrestling #8 through #10 were recently taped and will be out on You Tube soon.   This blogger cannot wait who was on the show and the matches that took place. As soon as the announcement is received here, I will announce it on the blog.           

SPW: Hardcore Island 2 Update:

Singapore Pro Wrestling's next show, Hardcore Island 2: A Fine City will take place on Friday, August 16th.  The venue is the Foo Chow Building beginning at 7:30pm.

 

One match has been added to the show.  The team of Jack N' Cheese (BGJ and CBK) had their open challenge accepted by The Gym Bros (Sunny Z and Benji).

A Year To Remember For WWE

Today is a different post than what this blogger normally does, which is Southeast Asia Pro Wrestling.

 

Want to talk about WWE for a moment.  This year, the WWE has done PLE shows in more countries than ever before.  This is really no accident since the company wants to be more global than ever.

 

This past weekend, WWE and NXT took the show to Toronto, Ontario (Canada) to sellout indoor crowds of near 20,000.  The Scotiabank Arena was the place to be this past weekend.

 

Next weekend, WWE will do two shows on the south side of America.  Mexico's - Mexico City and Monterrey will have two Super Show events on Saturday / Sunday, July 13-14.  The promotion was in Mexico last year before sellout crowds and it appears that WWE is at a fever pitch this time!

 

Since I do posts on Southeast Asia wrestling, recently, I've thought about sending WWE an e-mail regarding an Asia and Australia tour.  European tours are good and the fans in Scotland, England and Germany have responded big time!

 

Having a show in Australia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, China and Malaysia would be great, not only for the wrestling fans of the countries mentioned, but the promotions themselves.

 

Let me draft a letter or e-mail and see what can be done here.....

Just received word that Singapore Pro Wrestling's next show, Clash At The Club II will take place on Friday, July 19th beginning at 7:30pm.  The location is the ION Club.  The address is Balmora Plaza, 271 Bukit Timah Road.

There have been two matches added to Grapplemax's upcoming show.  The event is called Battle At The Barracks.  It will take place at The Southern Depot, Saturday, March 9th beginning at 8:30pm.  The address of The Southern Depot is 43 And 47 Malan Road in Singapore.

 

One of the matches will feature the team of Ships Ahoy (Christian and Sarah) versus Prabu and Ming Rui in an intergender tag team match.

 

The other match, also a tag team match will be Showtime Incs., Shaun R. Diddy and Kelvin against Ban Sachak and Shawn Phang.

Grapplemax Pro Wrestling Singapore will be going back to their mat wrestling roots in a show next month.
