PUSO Wrestling Streaming Event

Hello everyone!

 

On Sunday, January 12, PUSO Wrestling (Philippines) will have a streaming event beginning at 7pm local time on their You Tube channel.  It is called Livestream 1.

 

In the main event, there will be a Six Person Intergender Tag Team match.  El Kapitunero, Super P. and Patricia Ligaia will take on Main Maxx, Roxxy and Joya.  Interestingly, Main Maxx is the inaugural Pusong Pinoy Champion while El Kapitunero is the number one contender for the title.

 

More matches will be added to the show prior to this Sunday.  PUSO Wrestling can be found on You Tube.  Please subscribe!  Thank you.

Graveyard Shift Singapore Results

 

Hello everyone!

My apologies on this being late.  There was a mat-type event in Singapore the weekend of Saturday/Sunday, December 21-22 called Graveyard Shift.  It was held at The Glass Dome in Singapore.  Thanks to a couple of PUSO Wrestling wrestlers, this blogger is able to get some results of the two day event.  

 

Also, the blogger understood that this was a low key event.  However, the organizer said that the focus was to bring new fans into wrestling.  Just saying here...

 

On the Sunday show, Super P and Miss Selina match with a woman referee was the first time that a wrestling show, I believe in Southeast Asia, had three women in the ring.

 

Without any further mention, here are some results (though I know this is still incomplete).  I know that Jake De Leon and El Kapitunero appeared and wrestled in the show.   Thank you to the wrestlers involved.

Pusong Pinoy Results

Hello everyone.

 

Here are the results from PUSO Wrestling's show, Pusong Pinoy.  The event took place this past Saturday night, November 30th at the Brawl Pit Pulusan in Quezon City, Philippines.

 

Thank you to everyone who sponsored and attended a historic show.  Sources have shared with me that several wrestlers from Filipino Pro Wrestling were invited, and were at the show (which is always a welcome site).  It's great seeing wrestlers - Shaheen (United Arab Emirates), Shigehiro (Kyushu-Japan), Roxxy (Wrestlefest DXB), Robynn (FPW) and Yappy from other promotions taking part and helping out with the show.

 

Also, thank you to the various wrestling fans who messaged me following the show and shared their thoughts.  It always makes it easier to share results and the action and turn around and share it with fans who were not at the event.  As always, thank you again.  You guys are the best!

 

All the matches were of good quality (again from my sources).  And finally, congratulations to Main Maxx in winning the Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship.  In addition, congratulations to Aaron Liwanag, not only in getting to the finals, but putting up a very valiant effort in defeat.

 

This blogger will have one final post regarding PUSO Wrestling, Filipino Pro Wrestling, World Underground Wrestling and Dexcon later this week before celebrating another year in his life!  Please stay tuned for the post!

Jam Of The Joshis Update #2

Hello everyone!

 

A huge match has been added for Dexcon's Jam Of The Joshi's show.  The event takes place at Brawl Pit Bulusan, Saturday, October 13th beginning at 6pm in Quezon City.

 

The Horrors (Da Butcherman and Dr. Gore) will put the SPW Southeast Asian Tag Team Championship on the line against PUSO Wrestling's Super Friends (Super P and El Kapitunero).  

 

The Horrors are definitely a well known tag team wrestling, not only in Singapore, but in numerous countries throughout Southeast Asia.  They are definitely a team to be reckoned with.

 

Super Friends are no slouch either.  Both Super P and El Kapitunero have teamed up several times as well as in singles competition.  It will, undoubtedly, be their biggest test, and match, to date.

PUSO Wrestling Heart-2-Heart Results

Hello everyone!  My apologies, but am late on this.

 

Here are the results from PUSO Wrestling's Heart-2-Heart show.  The event was held last Saturday, September 21st at Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City before another great crowd!

 

Chelsea Marie d. Joya and will headline Dexcon's Jam Of The Joshis.

Main Maxx d. Nigel San Jose to reach the finals of the Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship Tournament.

Aaron Liwanag d. Super P and will face Main Maxx in the finals of the Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship Tournament.

El Katipunero won the Wheyl Wumble: Pinoy Wrestling Gauntlet Match.

Jomar and Crystal d. Isaiah Valencia and Patricia Ligaia.     

Second PUSO Tournament Match Set

 

Hello everyone!

 

PUSO Wrestling will have their inaugural show, Unang Tibok, on Saturday, August 17th.  The venue is the Brawl Pit Bulusan beginning at 6pm. 

A second match for the Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship Tournament has just been announced.

 

Super P. will be facing Joey Rosas in a first round match.  The winner will go on to the second round in hopes of winning the inaugural title.  Yesterday, the first match was announced with Main Maxx taking on El Kapitunero.

First PUSO Tournament Match Set

Hello everyone!

 

The first match in PUSO Wrestling's Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Tournament has been set.  It is part of the Unang Tibok show to take place on Saturday, August 17th.  The venue is the Brawl Pit Bulusan beginning at 6pm.

 

Main Maxx will take on El Kapitunero in one of the four matches in the first round of the tournament. The winner of the tournament will become the inaugural Pusong Pinoy Wrestling Championship.

 

In order for a wrestler to win, he or she must win three matches to win the prestigious belt. 

 

This match will definitely be a competitive one with the speed versus strength angle.  

 

Main Maxx has been a singles and tag team champion with a previous organization.  He is very experienced and is looking to add another title to his resume. 

 

El Kapitunero has wrestled the best that Pinoy Wrestling has to offer.  This blogger has seen him win in at his first show at the PETA Center in December 2022.  Am looking forward to the match-up.

Tagay Na! Results

Hello everyone!

 

Here are the results below from Sunday night's World Underground Wrestling - Philippines show, Tagay Na!  The event took place before an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and great gathering of Pinoy wrestling fans at the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City.

 

Also, I have some thoughts below the results.  Please, if you have a chance, to read it!

Note:  Silent D has become a part of TZK and can defend the tag team titles via the Freebird rule!

 

In closing, thank you to World Underground Wrestling - Philippines in putting on a show that the fans will not forget any time soon.  

 

To St. John Martin and the roster of both WUW - Philippines, and the new PUSO Wrestling roster, thank you for all the efforts, and keeping wrestling alive, and well, in the Philippines!  Also, to the staff, from the announcers, to photographers and those helping put the ring up, thank you too.  From this blogger, without all of you, there's no show, simple as that!

 

To the fans who were in attendance, and those who weren't there because of other obligations, thank you for supporting WUW - Philippines and PUSO.  Everyone's support is important right now. This blogger believes that WUW - Philippines and PUSO recognizes this and will continue to provide a good product for you.

 

Also, thank you to Rosh (results), Glenn-Dale (the clip from the show below), Christian, Jelson, Cholo, Andi, Ulysses, Emile, Michael, Martin, Patricia, Isaiah, Jeff, Alexander, and many others that I cannot remember (my apologies), thank you for the communication over the past couple of years.  Being about 7,000 miles away in America, without the input from all of you, posts like this wouldn't be possible.

 

There are good possibilities that Dexcon and WUW - Philippines will put on. at least, another show before year's end.  Also, PUSO Wrestling has mentioned that there will be an August show.  Details are forthcoming.  This blogger will have it on this blog as soon as the announcement is made!

Tagay Na! Show Update #6

Hello everyone!

 

There has been one match added for the Tagay Na! show scheduled for this coming Sunday, July 7th.  The event will be held at Brawl Pit Bulusan beginning at 6pm.

 

"Mr. Philippine Wrestling," Jake De Leon will face Ed Kapitunero in a Submission or an "I quit!" match.

 

Later this week, this blogger will share the entire card for the show since there have been a few changes.

MWF 2024 Republika

Hello everyone!

 

By now, the kapafeds and Pinoy wrestling fans know that the Manila Wrestling Federation show was a huge success according to sources.  A special congratulations to MWF and Kyushu Pro Wrestling in Japan on a successful show before a sold out crowd.  As per the standard here, I won't post any full results until the Kasaysayan show has been shown on GANK and/or Rock Of Manila TV.

The next show is MWF Republika to be held at UP Bahay Ng Alumni on Sunday, May 12th beginning at 4pm.  The 2024 Chilly Willy Wrestling Cup in its second year will be held that day.

There has been one match regarding the cup that is now official.  

 

El Kapitunero will face Serafin Liwanag (formerly CJ Serafin) in a singles match.

Two other matches have been added besides the one Cup match.

 

Joya will take on Chelsea Marie in a women's single match.

 

Also, MWF Pinoy Wrestling Champion, Jake De Leon will face the number one contender, Main Maxx AND Fabio Makisig in a three way main event match for the title.  Makisig is implementing his rematch clause from last December's Noche Buena show.

 

Finally, my apologies for not posting this earlier, but I'm recovering from an accident last week on public transportation in my area.  Definitely feeling better and able to get back to blogging.

MWF Kasaysayan Update #6

Hello everyone!  There will be an added match for MWF's Kasaysayan show scheduled for Sunday, April 14th.  The venue is the UP Film Institute Media at UP Dillman in Quezon City.

 

The popular El Katipunero from Manila Wrestling Federation will take on Genkai from Kyushu Pro Wrestling in a singles match.

 

El Kapitunero is popular amongst the kapafeds with Manila Wrestling Federation and always rises to the occasion no matter the opponent.  Genkai will be a huge challenge since he is a three time - Kyushu Pro Wrestling Champion!

MWF: Noche Buena Update #3

Have an update on the Manila Wrestling Federation's show, Noche Buena scheduled for Sunday, December 3rd beginning at 4:30pm.

 

As of three hours ago, there were ONLY five ringside tickets left.  This means once they are gone, only General Admission tickets will be left.  This fan was told the last time in the PMC Spotlight Theater that the event holds 300 people for an MWF event.  

 

SO, if you plan on going, please secure your ticket as soon as possible!  There is no question that this Noche Buena will be the best wrestling show this year, and for that matter, possibly all time.

 

Now, since the last update, there have been two matches added.

 

First, the Hong Kong-Philippine Cup entrants have been set.  It will be Michael Su vs. Bitman vs. Joey Rosas in a three way match for the Cup.  I will share more about the competitors and the match in a future post.

 

The other added match will be El Kapitunero vs. Brother Benny in a singles match.  It has just been mentioned to this blogger that this will be Brother Benny's debut in the ring!
