Bitman (HKPWF) Wrestling In Mexico

However, hope all of you will enjoy the following post.

 

In 2023, I had the opportunity to see three Hong Kong Pro Wrestlers in a show in the Philippines.  Bitman, Michael Su and legendary wrestler, Ho Ho Lun were a part of the Manila Wrestling Federation Noche Buena show.  You could say I was in awe of watching all three for the first time.

 

In 2024, Hong Kong Pro Wrestling Federation (or HKPWF) has been working tirelessly to expand the promotion through cooperation with promotions in China, Japan and Mexico (yes Mexico!) as well as Europe and Asia.

 

This weekend, and it is already a huge weekend for pro wrestling worldwide with the NJPW event in Tokyo, Bitman will be in a tag team - three way event which is a main event of the show.  The event is held on Sunday in Veracruz, Mexico beginning at 6:30pm local time.

 

Bitman and El Fiscal will face Cibernetico & Murder Clown along with another team, Texano Jr. and Super Nova.  Cibernetico is a former AAA Mega Champion.  AAA is a major wrestling promotion in Mexico.

 

This blogger will share more of what happened in the show in the upcoming days.  

Graveyard Shift Singapore Results

 

Hello everyone!

My apologies on this being late.  There was a mat-type event in Singapore the weekend of Saturday/Sunday, December 21-22 called Graveyard Shift.  It was held at The Glass Dome in Singapore.  Thanks to a couple of PUSO Wrestling wrestlers, this blogger is able to get some results of the two day event.  

 

Also, the blogger understood that this was a low key event.  However, the organizer said that the focus was to bring new fans into wrestling.  Just saying here...

 

On the Sunday show, Super P and Miss Selina match with a woman referee was the first time that a wrestling show, I believe in Southeast Asia, had three women in the ring.

 

Without any further mention, here are some results (though I know this is still incomplete).  I know that Jake De Leon and El Kapitunero appeared and wrestled in the show.   Thank you to the wrestlers involved.

ROR Experience 3 Event

Hello everyone!

 

Hopefully, it's okay to post this.  There will be an event coming up on January 19th in Singapore involving Ring Of Rebirth.

 

The event is called Yam Seng!  Looking at the poster, an Art Exhibit, Chinese New Year celebration and Q & A along with pro wrestling, ROR Experience 3 will take place.  The event begins at 4pm.

SETUP Thailand Bangkok Navigation Update #6

Hello everyone!

 

SETUP Thailand's next show, Bangkok Navigation, will take place on Saturday, January 18th, a little over two weeks away.  One match has been added for the show and it's another big one!

 

A special intergender fatal four way match featuring Kru Pol, Pondhub, Gunn and Matcha has been added.

 

This, once again, is a great opportunity for each competitor.  All four competitors are coming off defeats in their last matches.

 

Fatal four way matches, no matter where they are in the world, are as unpredictable as rumble matches.  This blogger certainly won't predict who might come out on top, but it certainly will be interesting.  All four wrestlers have something to prove.

PWL Super Show Update #2

Hello everyone!

 

Pro Wrestling League (Australia) has added one match to its next show, The Australian Wrestling Super Show.  The event is at the Eatons Hill Hotel in Brisbane on Friday, February 14th.

 

Rip Rielly will face Caveman Ugg in a match that is termed as "Battle Of The Beasts."

SETUP Thailand Bangkok Navigation Update #5

Happy New Year everyone!

 

A huge match has been added for SETUP Thailand's show, Bangkok Navigation.  The wrestling event will take place on Saturday, January 18th at The Circus Studio G Village.  Doors open at 6pm with the show beginning at 6:30pm.

 

Paksa, one of the greats in Thailand wrestling history, and with SETUP, will take on one of Japan's wrestling legends in Naomichi Marufuji (Pro Wrestling Noah).

 

IWA Japan's Tatsukuni "Kinroku" Asano Memorial International Special Single Match will be a memorable and special one.  Mr. Asano began promoting wrestling events in 1990 with FMW as well as All Japan Pro Wrestling.  Later on, Victor Qunones and Asano co-founded IWA Japan.

 

Asano passed away this past November.  According to a recent article, per Post Wrestling, in July 2024, SETUP and Asano’s promotion collaborated on a joint show. It was the first IWA Japan-branded event since 2014.  The upcoming match is in honor of him.

SETUP Thailand Bangkok Navigation Update #4

Hello everyone!

 

SETUP Thailand has announced a championship match for the show, Bangkok Navigation.  The show will take place on January 18th at The Circus Studio G Village in Bangkok.  Doors open at 6pm with the first match at 6:30pm.

 

Daz Black, the Premier British Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion will take on SETUP 24/7 Champion, Kevin Weng.  Only the British Championship will be on the line.

 

Of late, this blogger has watched both wrestlers on You Tube.  For Kevin Weng, this is a huge  opportunity of a lifetime to elevate himself in SETUP.  Championship opportunities don't come every day.

 

For Daz Black, I saw one match earlier in 2024 against Carlos Zamora, definitely no slouch in the wrestling world.  It was one of the most exciting matches this blogger has seen this year.

One match has been added for SETUP Thailand's first show in January.  The show is called Bangkok Navigation.  The date is Saturday, January 18th at The Circus Studio G Village in Bangkok.  Doors for the event opens at 6pm with the first match at 6:30pm.

 

The IWA World Tag Team Championship has been just announced.  The team of Blick Drewz and Flame Drake, no strangers to the pro wrestling scene in Thailand, will take on the champions, The Good Deal (Anont Alonzo and Mr. Suchart).  This appears to be a dream match for both teams!
