APAC Wrestling's Next Show

APAC Wrestling's next show, Wrestlelegion will take place on Saturday, July 20th.  The venue is the Spacerubix, Puchong. 

 

One match has been set so far.  "Mr Philippine Wrestling", Jake De Leon will travel to Malaysia to take on "The Nusantara Menace", Shaukat.  The match is for Shaukat's Ambition Wrestling Global Championship.

 

Also, I've been told that The Eurasian Dragon and The Aerial Sniper - Nyc will wrestle at the show.  Will have an update on who they will be facing as soon as possible.

Dual Destinies Results

Hello everyone!

 

Here are the results from Grapplemax Pro Wrestling's two day show (June 29-30).  The event was called Dual Destinies.  The show featured both singles and tag team wrestling held at the Grapplemax Studios in Singapore.  Am told that the show was exciting and the crowd was electric!  Definitely, the show was a huge success.

PUSO Wrestling

A lot has happened since being away from posting over the last couple of weeks.

 

As Pinoy Wrestling fans know, a wrestling promotion of eight years in the Philippines closed its doors to a number of aspiring wrestlers and numerous wrestling fans in the Philippines and world wide.

 

This blogger, before being away from the computer, sensed that something was in the works.  A few wrestlers in the group took part in a Dexcon event known as Wrestle Storm when the Manila Wrestling Federation canceled their promotion earlier this year.  

 

Wrestle Storm would come around at the right time.  It was the show to celebrate 10 years of Pinoy Wrestling.  Though not being there, the emotion of what happened previous and what happened at the conclusion of the show was something not to be forgotten.   

 

It would have been very easy for the group to end something that they truly love.  Some members in the group have wrestled for nearly ten years.  Others have begun their journey over the past year or so.

 

A few days ago, could be wrong on the number, but 22 aspiring people have come together and formed a promotion called Puso Wrestling.  Certainly, this is a huge start for the group.  

 

If this blogger can share this, PUSO Wrestling believes that Pinoy Wrestling is ALIVE!  One beat. One home.  One love for the Filipino pro wrestling industry.

PUSO Wrestling and WUW - Philippines member, Ken Cifer, messaged me last week to follow this group.  And in the very short time, as this is being posted, 906 have done just that!  

This blogger has been told that PUSO Wrestling will have a pilot show this coming August.  Details will be forthcoming soon.

Tagay Na! Show Update #5

Hello everyone!

 

A lot has happened since my last post two weeks ago.  My apologies for not posting but have had an emergency to take care of here in America.  Please don't worry everyone!  Health wise, I'm good and am looking forward to the Philippines visit in about four weeks time.

 

There have been changes on the card for Tagay Na!  The show will still take place at the Brawl Pit Bulusan on Sunday, July 7th beginning at 6pm in Quezon City.

 

Added will be an "I Quit" match between Main Maxx and Silent D.

 

Also, a singles match is now a Triple Threat Match.  The match between One Man Kru and Zera has been canceled.

 

Instead, Zera will wrestle against Dabid Ravena against Nigel San Jose in a Triple Threat Match.

 

Later in the week, this blogger will post the show lineup for everyone just in case anyone (like myself) forgot.

Tagay Na! Show Update #4

Hello everyone!

 

There has been a match added for the Tagay Na! show take will take place on Sunday, July 7th.  The venue is the Brawl Pit Bulusan and the first match begins at 6pm.

 

The living legend in Pinoy Bulldog will face the red lightning in Robin Sane.  This encounter has been mentioned as New School versus Old School.   Definitely, this has the makings of a great match.

Tagay Na! Show Update #3

Hello everyone!

 

There have been a couple of developments since this blogger's last post a couple of days ago.  The show by World Underground Wrestling - Philippines will take place on Sunday, July 7th, 6pm at the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City.

 

Zera, one of World Underground Wrestling - Philippines finest, and definitely bravest, will accept the challenge of One Man Kru, the Lineal World Champion.

 

Also, living legend, the Pinoy Bulldog, wants to take on one of the best in this generation of Pinoy Wrestling.  Who will accept the challenge.

FPW Astig July Show Update #5

Hello everyone!

 

Looks like the FPW Astig show for July is beginning to take shape.  The show will be held on Sunday, July 14th, Baked Studios beginning at 2pm.

 

Two matches have been added since the last post a couple of days ago.

 

The Gym Bro, Thiago will take on the resident high-flyer, Jeffrey in one of the matches.

 

The second match will feature Duke Ortega against Proximo.

FPW Astig July Show Update #4

Hello everyone!

 

Another match has been added to the FPW Astig show.  The event will take place on Sunday, July 14th, 2pm at the Baked Studios in Makati City.

 

This blogger hasn't seen her in action yet, but Roxy Reeves is making a name for herself in Filipino Pro Wrestling.  Anytime, a woman makes it to the big stage, it's great and welcome news!  Congratulations Roxy!

 

After her impressive debut in FPW's last show, she will now take the next step.  She will be facing a former champion in Pinoy wrestling history, and a teacher, in Ralph Imabayashi.

 

Billed as a singles match featuring the Teacher versus the Student, how much as Roxy learned thus far?  Or, how much has Ralph shared in their training sessions in the FPW Academy?

VPW Ultimate Collision Results

Here are the results from Vietnam Pro Wrestling's show Ultimate Collision.  The show took place this past Saturday night, June 8th at the VAIB Studio, D7.  From the photos and some video, it was definitely a great night as always!

 - Khoa Truong defeated The British Horror in a hard fought Devil's Playground Street Fight match.

 - Venomshank open challenge turns out not just 1 but 2 teams challenge the gold, as The Classic Night and the reunion of VTX.

 VTX defeated Classic Night and Venomshank to become the new VPW Tag Team champions.

 - Rocky Huynh defeated Sid Nguyen and successfully defended the VPW Openweight Championship.

FPW Astig July Show Update #3

Hello everyone!

 

Since my last post, there have been two more matches added to the July FPW Astig show.  The show will take place on Sunday, July 14th at 2pm. The venue is at Baked Studios in Makati City.

 

One of the matches will feature "The Blessed One" Chino Guinto versus Dax Xaviera.  This blogger has been told that there is a stipulation in this match.  If Chino loses a match at any point before becoming FPW champion, he will retire from in-ring competition.

 

The second match added will have "The Mad Doctor" in Jan Evander going up against "The Maestro" in Cali Nueva.  This will be a battle between Evander's high flying offense against Nueva's lucha libre style.  The winner could be one step closer to an FPW title match.

Hello everyone!

 

There has been a match added since my last post regarding Tagay Na!  The World Underground Wrestling - Philippines show will take place on Sunday, July 7th.  Bell time is 6pm at the Brawl Pit Bulusan in Quezon City, PH.

 

The "Godkiller," Dabid Ravena will take on the "Suplex Machine," Nigel San Jose in a singles match.  This will definitely be one banger of a match!

Filipino Pro Wrestling has added a second match for the July FPW Astig show.  The event takes place on Sunday, July 14th, 2pm at Baked Studios (Yahal Street, Makati City).

 

Good Guy Quatro will take on Evan Carleaux in singles competition.  This appears to be a good hard hitting battle.
