MWF Kasaysayan Update #5

Hello everyone!  We now have a triple threat match lined up for the MWF Kasaysayan show scheduled for Sunday, April 14th at the UP Film Institute at UP Dillman.

 

The participants will be Nigel San Jose, Main Maxx and Danny Zamora.  Looking back to last year, all three participants took part in the eight man elimination match for the MWF Pinoy Wrestling Championship at Noche Buena.  

 

Main Maxx was in the final paring when losing to Jake DeLeon for the MWF Championship in December.  Certainly, he's in line for a shot at the championship once again.

 

Nigel San Jose and Danny Zamora are more, than considered, challenges for the MWF belt as well.  This blogger doesn't know if this is possibly a number one contender's match but it may make for a suggestion.

MWF: Kasaysayan Show Update #4

Another match has been added to the MWF Kasaysayan show schedule for Sunday, April 14th at the UP Film Institute.

 

Oro Plata Mata's Dabid Ravena and Kurt Jiminez will take on the team of Batten X Burabura (Kyushi Pro Wrestling) and Joey Rosas (MWF).

 

This fan admittedly needs to know more about the stars from Kyushi Pro Wrestling.  Definitely, the promotion is bringing a good number of wrestlers over to the Philippines for the show.  For the kapafeds and pinoy wrestling fans who have never seen the group, this would be a great opportunity to see them live.

VPW: Spring Bash Update #1

There is one official match that has been made for Vietnam Pro Wrestling's show, Spring Bash.  The event takes place on Saturday, March 16th at the VAIB Studio (37 Forbidden Literature, Nan Kieng, D7) beginning at 7pm.

 

Venomshank, the VPW Tag Team Champions will face The Juicy Boyz.  The team is made up of Miles Kara and The Wonderboy from Malaysia Pro Wrestling.  Miles Kara is making a successful return to the ring after a knee injury suffered last year.  The Wonderboy is the current Malaysia National WrestleCon Champion.

 

The other match is unofficial right now but will mention it briefly.  The Guerrilla Games match will feature Team Taurus versus Vortex Rebellion.  Will share more on this in a future post.

PWS: Pro Wresting Resurgence

Pro Wrestling Society (PWS Korea) will be back with an upcoming event, Pro Wrestling Resurgence.  The event will take place on Saturday, April 6th beginning at 4pm with doors opening at 3pm.  The venue is PWS STUDIO SONGTAN,  74-25, Mokcheon-ro, Pyeongtaek-si.

 

This will be the first major show for PWS Korea since last autumn.  As soon as there is more information on the show, will post more.  In the meantime, please check the Pro Wrestling Society page on Facebook.  Thank you. 

SPW: Stronghold

Singapore Pro Wrestling's next event, SPW Stronghold will take place on Friday, March 15th.  The venue is the Foo Chow Building in Singapore beginning at 7:30pm.

 

Here are the matches lined up so far....

Chris Vice (C) will defend the Zero-1 Heavyweight Championship against The Statement- Andruew Tang.

The Horrors (C) will defend the SPW Southeast Asia Tag Team Championship against The Natural Classics.

Aiden Rex (C) will defend the SPW SEA Championship against Carlo Cannon (MYPW World Champion).

In an International Intergender Tag Team Match, Alexis Lee and Enman will take on SETUP Thailand's Riz and Matcha.

Black Arrow (C) vs. Big T for the SPW Singapore Championship.

Hong Kong Pro Wrestling's Next Show

Hong Kong Pro Wrestling's next show, Rise will celebrate the 16th anniversary of the promotion.

 

The event will take place on Saturday, March 9th at 7pm in Shanghai, China.

 

Details are in the works right now.  It appears that wrestlers from Hong Kong, China and Japan will appear on the show as well as women wrestlers.

MYPW: New Breed Update

 

Hello everyone.  Malaysia Pro Wrestling's next show, New Breed II will take place on Saturday, March 2nd.  The venue is the KuAsh Theater TTDI.  Doors open at 5pm with the show beginning at 6pm.

 

Here is an update of the matches lined up so far:

 

Kaizul vs. D.

Zhan Wen vs. Miles Karu in a singles match.

The Wonderboy (C) vs. Da Butcherman for the MYPW National Wrestlecon Championship.

10 man Invitational Rumble.  The winner will receive a shot at the MYPW National Wrestlecon Championship.  Jack Alexander, Endboss Gregory (Grapplemax), Kaizul, Syawal (have entered).

Emman Azman vs. Thommy Ardhi in a singles match.

Carlo Cannon (C) vs. The Statement Andruew Tang for the MYPW World Championship.

Cornelius Low and Blazing Raj vs. Daniel Cocksworth and Daniel Holmes.

MWF Kasaysayan Show Update #3

Since last posting on the MWF Kasaysayan show, there have been two matches added.  The event will be held on Sunday, April 14th at 4:30pm at the UP Film Institute Media Center.

 

Both matches will feature stars from the Manila Wrestling Federation and Kyushu Pro Wrestling in Japan.

 

Tajiri and Fabio Makisig will take on Aso-San and Jomar.

and

Saint John Martin and Ken Cifer (C) vs. Naoki Sakurajima and Hitamaru Sasaki for the WUW Tag Team Championship.

VPW: Spring Bash

Vietnam Pro Wrestling will be hosting their next show, VPW: Spring Bash.  The event will be held on Saturday, March 16th at 7pm., VAIB Studio (37 Forbidden Literature, Nan Kieng, D7).

 

The event will feature their first ever Guerrilla Games match, a three vs. three competition.  Also, there will be an international clash for the VPW Tag Team Championship.

Causeway Jam Results

Here are the results from the wrestling show, Causeway Jam from last Saturday night.  The event featured stars from Grapplemax Pro Wrestling Singapore and Malaysia.  The event was held at the Grapplemax Studios in Singapore.

MWF Kasaysayan Show Update #2

Back at December's Manila Wrestling Federation show, Noche Buena, there was a historical event.

 

For the first time, MWF had an All Women's Four Way match.  It was a monumental evening as Super P would win the event.  The kapafeds, who were there that night at the PMC Spotlight Theater, cheered loudly before, during and after the match.  It was definitely one of the highlights of the evening.

 

At the Kasaysayan show this coming April 14th, another bit of history will happen once again.  The team of Super P and Patricia Ligaia will take on Joya and Chelsea Marie in a Women's Tag Team Match.

FIlipino Pro Wrestling Update #5

Hello everyone!  Filipino Pro Wrestling's show, FPW Astig, will take place this Sunday.  The venue is the PMC Spotlight Blackbox Theater in Circuit Makati.  The show starts at 2pm with the doors opening at 1:30pm.  Note:  Please disregard the photo that says Early Bird Tickets Available now!  That has passed.

MWF Kasaysayan Show Update #1

Hello everyone.  One match has been officially announced for the Manila Wrestling Federation show, Kasaysayan 2024.  The event will take place on Sunday, April 14th at the UP Film Institute Media Center at UP Dillman.

 

The two time - MWF Pinoy Wrestling Champion, Jake De Leon will put the title up against the number one contender, "Danger" Rex Lawin.

Kasaysayan 2024 is co-presented by MWF and Kyushu Pro Wrestling .
